Animal Rights
Within this unit we will look at the topic of animal rights and animal testing, we will examine what we mean by the rights of animals and why we test on animals. We will then explore secular opinions on animal testing before delving into the religious perspectives including Christianity as an Abrahamic faith and Buddhism as a Dharmic Faith, we will then examine a Humanist perspective as a non religious worldview. This unit will challenge you to apply the knowledge of Religious Studies that you have gained since year 7 to apply it to an ethical topic and succeed.
